It is with heartfelt sorrow that the family of Catherine "Kay" Beaudoin announce her passing on May 2, 2025, at the age of 87 with her loving family by her side.
Kay was predeceased by her husband Andy Sr., son Andy, granddaughter Katie and grandson Johnny Dumas; her parents George and Jessie McKenna (nee Tait) and her lifelong friend Mary Gerber. As well as many brothers and sisters-in-law.
Kay is survived by her devoted daughters Susanne (Barry) Dumas, and Tiffaney (Pierre) McLean and her daughter-in-law Kim, her cherished grandchildren Christian, Leanza, Christina, Jacqui and Danielle (Shayn Seguin), her precious great grandsons Wesley and little Andy. Also left to mourn her are her sister Janette Dodge, nieces April Dodge Krohmalnik and Corina Lacarte and their families, her grand-daughter-in-law Christina Fortier and numerous other nieces and nephews. As well her longtime friend Joan Hodgins.
The family would like to thank Dr. Ek, Treva from Closing the Gap for the exceptional care provided and the compassion shown to their mum. Additionally, the family would like to thank the staff at the Teck Pioneer Residence for the kindness shown to their mum during the last year of her life.The family would like to extend their heartfelt gratitude to Neil Retty from Medigas, for his exemplary work ethic in ensuring our mum’s oxygen requirements were met.
Kay will be laid to rest in the family plot at the Kirkland Lake Cemetery

Our heart is breaking for you! Your Mom was a kind, caring and strong lady! Although it’s incredibly hard to say goodbye, it’s comforting to know she is back with Uncle Andy, Andy, Katie and Johnny. You’re in our prayers and thoughts! Hugs!!!

I am so sorry for the loss of your mom, mil, sister. She was quite the lady, known for her long nails, blond hair and always with her sister. I always received a Christmas card from her, until the last couple of years. I'm sure that Andy Sr. was there waiting for her, along with Andy, Katie & Johnny. I got to know Kay when mom worked at high school with Janette (Condolences)and we'd bump into them while shopping. Then I found out she was Andy Jr's mom and grandmother to Katie. She always had something funny to talk about. Hope she's at peace now

I am so sorry to hear about the loss of your mom. She will certainly be missed at TPR. Mom so enjoyed spending time with her and enjoyed their daily chats at the dinner table.
